![]() ![]() In 2012 he again took up the question of moral for intellectual enquiry from the point of views of sociology, biology, psychology, and activities of the brain. ![]() The answers became allegorical and difficult to interpret. He found moral as an intractable intellectual problem and therefore sought answers from his inner guide. It influenced him to seek a philosophical basis of moral which would be free from dogmas and interests of the particular groups of people and culture. ![]() During his stay in New York, where his wife worked in the Norwegian Delegation to the UN, he acquired knowledge about human rights and the Universal Declarations by the international organization. ![]() A desire to achieve freedom which may help to maximize human potential to experience life`s multifarious possibilities remained central to his activities. In the youth he became strongly attracted to the philosophy of existentialism. He grew up with a strong sense of righteousness and justice without adhering to any religious belief and practice. He learnt to be compassionate to the living world and an inner guide became the teacher of moral in his life. However, he was caught up with an experience of a world which seemed to reside outside the perceivable reality in an early age. Anup Rej was brought up in an atheist family where divinity and spiritual matters had no place. ![]()
